A common bird in South Eastern Australia. The foraging style of Superb fairywrens that occurs on the ground or in shrubs that are less than 2 meters high was termed ‘hop-searching’. Because this foraging practice makes them vulnerable to predators, birds tend to stick fairly close to cover and always forage in groups.
